Yep, maybe it was the best time of the year. Forty years ago. Before it became this slog of four months of sweat instead of just four weeks.
Trying to shake off rust (been crocheting for days in a row) with some more Marathon doodles.
* Had a dream of this sinister blue-haired guy hanging around @juzo-kun‘s take on Tycho (well, it was two guys, but I’m consolidating them) who just screamed “rival for Alex Okita, Juzo-kun’s Security Officer”.
* Vince in the jacket he wore on the UESC Marathon; he held onto it as a reminder of sorts.
So, I’m actually debating on what to do with Inm., since Nu-Marathon is clearly going to upend a lot of things (the ARG has already revealed that there were eight AIs on Tau Ceti IV, when Inm. had it that there was only one, Hero); plus, at this point, Vince is very much his own guy as the protagonist of Deus Vocatus. Viktor Romanov could always sub for him, but I’d have to restart my Inm. writings entirely. Barring commissions or something, this might be the last time I draw Vince as the Security Officer.
* Speaking of: overhauled Vic, as I felt his original design made him look too young (he’s supposed to be in his 30s, like Vince).
Being obsessed with your own OCs but literally never creating any art or content for them is such a curse. You’ll be like “this reminds me of blorbo from my head :)”, and everyone else will just be like “? who thef uck”
